Assalamu Alaikum.

I am grateful to the Almighty Allah (SWT), whose infinite mercy has started the journey of the “Bangladeshi Community School, Korea” in the heart of South Korea. Heartiest congratulations to all concerned on this initial journey.

It’s a bitter truth that despite the presence of Bangladeshis in South Korea for over 30 years, no educational institution has been established to introduce our children about our local educational culture. Moreover, as there is no institutional system for children’s religious education and learning Bangladeshi culture in Korea, children cannot participate in regular education programs in Bangladeshi educational institutions if they want to return to Bangladesh for any reason in the future. Although there are many good English medium institutions in South Korea, these institutions are very expensive, and it is difficult for most parents to afford them. However, in many other countries in Europe and America, many reputed Bangladeshi institutions have been started by the initiative of the Bangladeshi community.

In this situation, a “community school” becomes essential in Korea as an initiative to teach the Bengali language, culture, and religious customs as the primary step to introducing the expatriate Bangladeshi children to their roots. As a result, the journey of “Bangladesh Community School, Korea” has started.

Bangladesh Community School, Korea; As the first institution of primary education for our children, activities are going to be conducted with a specific goal and purpose in mind, In sha Allah. As we know, despite being educated in the best educational system in the world, it is almost impossible for a child to become an utterly ideal person without religious and moral education. Therefore, the institution has started its journey with the aim of connecting the next generation with the mainstream education of the country even if they are stationed abroad. We hope that today’s little children will work as soldiers to build the desired golden Bangladesh of tomorrow. In this era of globalization, in keeping with South Korea’s advanced education system, we will keep our foundation strong through various competitions by sticking to the ideals of our educational institutions; We are steadfast in this commitment.

Not only traditional classes and exams, but I also hope that “Bangladesh Community School, Korea” will always move towards the new dimension as an excellent example of caring for students’ physical and mental health.

Primary class activities have been started at an early stage as an initial step towards the realization of far-reaching objectives. We hope that our School will gradually be upgraded to Higher Secondary (12th) class, In Sha Allah.

May Almighty Allah (SWT) accept everyone’s efforts in managing the School and make our activities easier, hoping for everyone’s cooperation and the organization’s future success.
