Bangladesh Community school Korea (BCSK) has started its journey on August 28, 2022, with its inauguration, followed by online classes for pre-primary students on September 1, 2022. BCSK has adopted its unique teaching method by hybridizing online classes and physical classes. The School’s management committee has decided to have physical classes (Face to face) twice each semester for four months. The motto and goal of the physical classes are to be familiar with the other students, interact with each other to make friends, physical presentation what they learn during the online classes, and physical performances among the students. The first physical class was held on October 22, 2022, at Hanyang University, Erica campus conference Hall.
The whole program has been divided into two parts. First, Arabic, Bangla, and English teachers conducted physical classes for the students. The duration of each course was about 50 min. Students interacted with the teacher during the lessons and did lots of fun activities. Each student was given various types of prizes and gifts to motivate them.
On the other part, parent and guardian gatherings have been held to discuss the ongoing activity of the School and future activity and welcome comments and suggestions from the guardians. In addition, governing body members Prof. Dr. Mizan, Abu Bakar Siddique Rana, and Md Sahadat Hossain actively participated in this session.
Parent awareness and activity presentations were provided by our Arabic teacher Mr. Ariful Haoque.
The principal Prof. Dr. Manwar Hussain, lectured a clear presentation and prospects of the school presentation. In his lecture, he promised to provide good quality moral education for the students. Also assured to have classes 1 and 2 started from 2023. He also promised to allocate NCTB books among the students from next semester. The principal also vows his intention to appoint an English Native speaker for the English club to learn the native English speaking, learning, and listening.
Finally, a gift and prize-giving ceremony were held. In this section, a gift was given to all students from one of our governing body members Br. Babu bhai, and various prizes were given to all students. The whole program was conducted by Dr. Kamrul Islam, vice principal of the School.
The gathering section ended by making duah for the School’s future by Imam Ansan Masjid. Mumtajul Haque.
